At North Star Behavioral Health, we practice thoughtful psychiatry - slowing down, listening closely, and tailoring care to each individual. What We Offer

Psychiatric evaluation & diagnosis

Our psychiatrists provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, teens, and adults. Each evaluation is tailored to understand the full picture — including history, symptoms, and goals — and results in thoughtful recommendations for treatment. Evaluations typically last 60-75 minutes.

Medication management

We offer evidence-based medication management that is personalized, collaborative, and grounded in the latest research. Whether starting new treatment or continuing care, our psychiatrists focus on safety, clarity, and shared decision-making.

Psychotherapy for children, teens, and adults

Our licensed therapists provide individual psychotherapy across the lifespan. We specialize in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care — always tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma care

We have extensive experience treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, and trauma. Our psychiatrists and therapists work closely to support each client’s healing with skill, compassion, and care.
