Dr. Chadwick Yip is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and trained psychotherapist. He earned his B.A. and M.D. through the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s accelerated 6-year BA/MD program before relocating to Chicago to complete his general psychiatry residency at Rush University Medical Center. During residency, Dr. Yip served as the outpatient chief resident and medical education co-chief, where he enjoyed mentoring medical students and fellow residents.

Dr. Yip has expertise in treating mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), psychotic disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and women’s mental health. He is also experienced in collaborative care psychiatry, working closely with other medical providers to support patients across healthcare settings.

Known for his calm, confident presence and warm, down-to-earth communication style, Dr. Yip builds strong therapeutic relationships with his patients. He combines evidence-based medication management with individualized psychotherapy, and is deeply committed to helping each person feel understood, supported, and empowered in their care.
