
Marisa Perez-Reisler, M.D.
Dr. Marisa Perez-Reisler is a board-certified psychiatrist in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry, with over a decade of clinical experience in academic and hospital-based settings. She earned her B.A. from Harvard College and her M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her general psychiatry residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia-Cornell.
Prior to joining North Star in 2024, Dr. Perez-Reisler spent five years at Lurie Children’s Hospital, where she cared for patients with complex psychiatric and medical needs. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and continues to mentor and supervise medical trainees.
Dr. Perez-Reisler’s areas of expertise include mood and anxiety disorders, autism, ADHD, eating disorders, women’s mental health, and collaborative care psychiatry. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and brings a depth of experience to her work with children, adolescents, and adults across a broad range of clinical concerns.
